This is a hard one to resolve but you may be interested to consider in the evaluation of the results that many FLOSS enthusiasts are also against using proprietary platforms like surveymonkey because they dislike generating content free of charge and distrust disclosing marketing information to organisations with such a business model.  So my estimation is that you won't get the hard core answers there.

In any case thanks for putting together this survey and animating this thread and I am very interested to see the results both for my hackerspace organising work and for my academic research.
