when you are in town.  I am actually living in SF these days.

Used to work at Ames till the startup life.

I recommend checking out the titan missile by McMoons.  Also the rotor
craft rotting out by N-254, which is in and of itself a landmark
location in terms of the history of the internet.  Hangar 1 of course,
and the full heigh wind tunnel are obvious.  If you can get in to see
the vertical motion simulator that's bananas too.  Also Pleiadies at
the NAS is bizonkers cool.  The hyperwall is nice.

Lots of very cool stuff at Ames.  Ask for tours people are generally
pretty chill.
