[hackerspaces] Discuss Digest, Vol 97, Issue 5

My theory on membership management and RFID access software is it's like
with web frameworks. There's never going to be 'the' web framework.
Everybody's going to think they can do better and try to do better, or at
least think 'it's more fun to roll my own'. Every hackerspace or makerspace
should have their own homegrown project, preferably in part stitched
together clown's pants style from other hackerspaces' efforts. And that's
beautiful, man.

All that said yeah Seltzer or CiviCRM seem to have fans.
