Hey!

I'm one of the organizers for HOPE-X again -- the 10th Hackers On Planet Earth conference, in New York City, 18-20 July. It should be an amazing event!

If you're going, you can set up a Village for your space (or for anything, really). A "Village" is a place at HOPE-X where we can provide space and infrastructure for a group of people at HOPE-X. Villages at HOPE-X can also have self-organized Workshops throughout HOPE-X.

We have a form on the website that is currently in Beta:

In this beta version of the wiki form, self-organized Workshops are still currently being called "Sessions" -- but that will change soon. Also, the ability to add Workshops isn't on the wiki yet. But if you would like to have an area at HOPE-X, it would be way helpful for me and the HOPE-X organizers to create a Village on the wiki form.

Also, if you have any soldering irons (and stands, and wire cutters) that we could use for HOPE-X -- please bring them. We can also use as many AC power strips as you can lend. And if you want to bring any other tools, that would be cool, too!

Please bring cool stuff to show off! We'll have lots of space for the Hardware Hacking Area, demos, performance, art, as well as music, films, and of course, lots of great talks on very diverse topics of interest to the geek community.

In any case, I hope to see you at HOPE-X!

Best,

Mitch.
