[hackerspaces] kits stolen at HOPE-X

I'm not sure what is Mitch's answer going to be concerning securing stuff but till now when we run projects at CCC events and OHM in Europe we did close to 0 concerning securing and there was equipment worth of taking if you really wanted - except one book we were fine. The reason why we left things open was that we were rellying on the community and it's spirit in general and really did not wanted to start that "get a locker" compentition, that sucs. Some precautions are reasonable I think but within the reason.

I hope solution will be found and funds recovered.

Sincerely,

Typo.
It's really shitty to hear you, Toool and others have getting stuff nicked.
Don't take this question the wrong way, just wondering since I've seem people who should know better leave expensive tech laying around unwatched and unsecured at cons in the past.
How did you secure the kits?
