Yeah, Ace Monster Toys is interesting. One of the guys at $DAYJOB is
a member there. Thinks it's the bee's knees.
Seems to me AMT is a good example of maintenance of culture via
ongoing participation from founding members and a slavish attention to
inculcating habits and general principles. Which is something I'm
working on at Noisebridge.
But I've never spent more than 10 minutes there and don't follow the
mailing list. I'd be interested to learn a lot more about AMT -- the
good and the bad -- and whether my conceptions based on what I've
heard are well-founded or not.
