BTW, Eric Mill from the Sunlight Foundation put together a totally rational
discussion on why you should give up your gmail address (but maybe still
use GMail for now) and a tutorial on how to do it in under 45 minutes:
http://konklone.com/post/take-control-of-your-email-address. I'll probably
do that this week some time.
