Hear! Hear! http://earth.hackerspaces.org/ was updated.
Earth is the HackerSpaces Planet. It aggregates ATOM and RSS feeds in
English from hackerspaces, makerspaces, and hacklabs who ask for it.
I updated the feeds following Elger Jonker's Call for hackerspace
weblogs and newsfeeds: Kwartzlab, Dallas Makerspace, Bucketworks, and
LVL1 were added ; Pumping Station: One was already there ; Syn2Cat,
Makers Local 256, and Stockport URLs were updated, and a couple of
logos created or updated.
Reminder: in order to get *your Hackerspace's* ATOM or RSS feed *in
English* included in the planet, you should send an email to
planet at hackerspaces.org including 1) the URL of your space on the
wiki, 2) the URL of your feed, and 3) a 64x64 PNG logo.
For details, please read:
http://lists.hackerspaces.org/pipermail/discuss/2009-October/001007.html
Exceptionally, I did all the research and created the logos for the
new feeds, and, more importantly, I detected the feed URLs from
TOFU-ridden email--that's because I love you.
Please, GMail users, I'm sure there is an option to *not* top-post. If
you do, because you can't take 7 seconds to edit your email, and don't
care that others will have to waste at least 14 seconds to read you,
at least insert a newline after your entry, so your links actually
work without having to... Ahem... Hack them. :P
Happy hacking,
==
hk
P.S.: I get a consistent ERROR:planet:Error 500 while updating feed
<https://256.makerslocal.org/feed/atom/> if someone wants to look at it...
