[hackerspaces] Guy I met is trying to build a unified transhuman group

guess so. i've always been, but didn't know before moving to SF since I
never heard any of this stuff articulated while in europe. wouldn't hurt if
someone who truly knows the subject gave an overview talk at a CCC
camp/congress (or sent a mail summary here to start).

you'd expect ideas to be more evenly spread with the internet and all, but
that hasn't been my experience at all - it seems a lot of ideas are still
very local.
