Well, Proper has a history of producing some fairly high quality stuff (Canada's Worst Driver, Canada's Worst Handyman) and yes, reality tv is contrived, but much like many of the other "issues" facing hacker/makerspaces (corporate involvement, DARPA, etc.) there are opinions as far ranging as one could imagine - and there is unlikely to be anything at all like consensus.
I vote that we paint the mailing list blue for the duration.
