[hackerspaces] Starting a hackerspace ( Winchester Va)

Definitely need to show up at a time and place and hack on things.
Especially things others could get involved in or inspired by. With that,
word of mouth can frequently be enough.

All the publicity and formality in the world won't help if there's no
substance. Most of the successful things I've been a part of have been of
the "hey three friends, want to make a ____ on Saturday" variety and not the
"THIS SATURDAY: _____FEST" variety, so don't be afraid of being small. Small
towns can be tight knit; huge cities like Phoenix aren't necessarily easier
places to start a successful space.
