It gets programmed locally into eeprom, but there is no reason that it can't
query a server. Nobody has stepped up to writing the code yet.

We designed it to work with the Arduino Ethernet shield. That's one reason
for the 1A switching PS - certain of the network shields have a reputation
for smoking the on-board regulator in the Arduino.
