Uitnodiging openingsfeest Hack42 op zaterdag 26 februari

Na bijna een jaar zoeken is het dan eindelijk zo ver. Hack42 heeft vanaf
1 februari 2011 een overeenkomst gesloten met het Slak, wat inhoudt dat
we de beschikking hebben over een ruimte van 200 m2 in een pand aan de
Broekstraat 18 in Arnhem (vlakbij het Airborneplein en makkelijk te
bereiken met het OV). Natuurlijk zijn we meteen begonnen met verbouwen,
inrichten en verfraaien. De ruimte is inmiddels ingedeeld in een
bankenzaal voor presentaties, een comfortabele zithoek met bar, drie
werkplaatsen en een opslagruimte. Verder zal onze museumcollectie er een
plek vinden en mogelijk ook een studio voor geluidbewerking en het maken
van radio.

We zijn natuurlijk erg blij met deze voortgang en hopen deze ruimte nog
lang te kunnen benutten. Daarom willen we de ingebruikname luister
bijzetten met een knallend openingsfeest op zaterdag 26 Februari! De
planning is nog niet helemaal rond, maar het programma komt er
waarschijnlijk als volgt uit te zien:

    * Inloopborrel 14:00 uur
    * Officiële opening 15:00 uur
    * Rondleidingen en andere activiteiten 15:30 uur
    * BBQ (7 euro pp) en Muziek vanaf 17:30 uur (neem je eigen sterke
dranken mee)

We zouden het erg leuk vinden als je met ons mee komt feesten! Omdat we
graag rekening willen houden met het aantal aanwezigen, willen we je
vragen aan ons door te geven of je erbij bent. Zet je (nick)name op de
wiki [1] of meld je via feest at hack42.nl en laat gelijk weten of je ook
meedoet met de BBQ (en of je voorkeur hebt voor vlees/vis/vega).
Ben je de 26e verhinderd of duurt het je te lang? Dan kun je natuurlijk
ook op een ander moment even binnenlopen! Op onze website [2] is te zien
of er deelnemers aanwezig zijn.

Ken je nog meer mensen die geinteresseerd zijn in een project als
Hack42? Stuur de uitnodiging door, zodat ze het feest niet hoeven te
missen!
Wil je iets leuks voor ons meenemen maar weet je niet wat? Op de wiki
[1] plaatsen wij een verlanglijstje van gereedschappen/nonfood
consumables die we goed kunnen gebruiken (componenten etc.). Heb je iets
over en staat het niet op de lijst, schroom dan niet een mail te sturen!

Invitation Hack42 opening party on Saturday, February 26

After almost one year, the time has finally arrived. Hack42 has signed a
contract which means that starting 1 February 2011, we have access to an
area of 200 m2 in a building on Broekstraat 18 in Arnhem (near the
Airborne Square, and easily accessible by public transport). Of course
we immediately started renovating, furnishing and decorating. The space
is now divided into a hall with couches for presentations, a comfortable
lounge with bar, three workshops and a storage. Furthermore, our museum
has found a place there, and possibly a studio for sound editing and
making radio.

We're really pleased with this progress, and hope to be using this space
for a long time. Therefore, we want to mark the happy occasion with a
spectacular opening ceremony on Saturday, February 26th! The planning
has not been finalized, but the program will probably be as follows:

    * Walk-in with Drinks 14:00
    * Official opening 15:00
    * Guided tours and other activities 15:30
    * BBQ (7 euro a person) and music from 17:30 (bring your own liquor)

We would appreciate it if you come party with us! Because we want to
have some idea of the number of attendees, we ask you to inform us
whether you'll be there. Put your (nick)name on the wiki [1] or sign up
through feest at hack42.nl and let us know if you'll be there for the BBQ
(and your preference for meat / fish / veggie). Can't make it on the
26th, or can't wait that long? Then you can also pop over at another
time! Our website [2] shows whether participants are present.

Do you know other people who are interested in projects like Hack42?
Send the invitation on, so they do not have to miss the party! Want to
bring something nice for us, but don't know what? On the wiki [1], we
will post a wish list of tools / nonfood consumables that we can use
(components, etc.). If you have anything lying about and it is not
listed, please don't be shy to mail!
