Talking with one of the Austin hacker space primary tenants last night,
he's planning on doing classes, and selling supplies for those maker sessions
and with our structure, that's fine. We have ten 8x10 ft. lockable rooms
for primary lessees, and they can sublet to at most three others -- secondary lessees.
Visitors can only come when a primary that knows them is there,
primaries and secondaries come as they please. Each of these rooms
can have a little different rule set as the individuals work out. The rooms are
where any dedicated benches or desks are. Community areas are like co-working setups
with office furniture, break room, conference room and tools in the open space.
Saturday we're working on some more finished insulated walls for all this plan.
We have 5 out of ten rooms claimed so far, before they're fully built even,
but only by 5 people -- one claimed three rooms worth for a big
project he has coming up.
