Hi Everyone in the US Midwest,

I'm about to embark on a two-month long tour of giving workshops at hacker cons and Maker Faires and hackerspaces. For July I'll be at RMLL in Bordeaux, Plumbercon in Vienna, The Next HOPE in New York City, and the Detroit Maker Faire.

After the Detroit Maker Faire, I'd like to give workshops at hackerspaces throughout the US Midwest for the month of August.

I love teaching people how to solder, and how to make cool things with microcontrollers. My workshops have been really popular. They are also really good ways for people to get to know about hackerspaces that they might not have known about otherwise. And it's always fun for hackerspaces to have events like this.

If you're hackerspace is up for it, I'd love to add you to my tour line-up! It's fine if your space is existing, or just forming.

I'd also love to help your space any way I can. As co-founder of Noisebridge, I am happy to share my experience if it can be of help.

Also, if anyone would like to join me for all or part of my Midwest tour, please let me know.

My workshops are always free -- I just ask to be reimbursed for the parts I offer in the form of kits, if any are used.

Cheers,

Mitch.
