I think that is just old people who got stuck somewhere between AOL and
Compuserve.
And probably really think it is funny to diss some not-so-computer-savy
people.

We have a lot of fun in our hackerspace and diss people all the time.
Off course I will diss you if you mix up the nmap and ls commands...

But if someone enters the space who seems genuinly computer illiterate,
well, I give my best to introduce him to the basics and take it from there.

It is still, and always will be, about respect. Ohh yes and you do need
to use your brains from time to time.

Off course the person who posted on the list could have been an
impersonator and is now laughing his or hers ass off.. I do not care, it
is better to assume the person is honest and honestly help her then do
the oposite.
