[hackerspaces] insuring a hackerspace

Here in seattle, WA, USA..
I tend to treat our insurance as 'one shot' insurance. It's rather
cheep for our space, but we won't be able to afford the cost of it after
we file one major claim... like somebody cutting off an arm.
We have folks sign liability releases; those might help. "If you get
hurt, it's your fault." I've attached our Waiver agreement. We
generally only have people sign them if they are going to be involved
with anything over 10mw/cm2 worth of energy, or tools which draw more
than 50 watts.
We love shrinking coins. It's a lovely bang.
