Hi to all,
I'm back home, finally!

We have time to rent a tent till the end of the month. The smallest size is 5 on 5 meters for 375 EU I'm not sure if we have to book all the other equipment like chairs and tables before end of April too, I'm trying to find out now.

I have around 160 EU from the 29c3 left in donations which we can use directly for this, however I have them in South Korea, so I will have to get them somehow "online" as soon as possible.

I would recommend to rent also several tables, 1-2 beer tables and some chairs, it would bring the requirements at  the moment to more or less 515 EU (355 EU in minus) which I believe is not too bad if we consider the fact that it would give us a base to start with about which we do not have to worry.

Of course we have to do a proposal of the Food Hacking Base project for OHM 2013 in general. It would be great if you can start to think about the suggestion of more independent direction which I would vote for focused mostly on workshops and food hacking base community shared space/events and based mostly/completely on donations. I think that if we organize well, we should be able to keep the expenses below 3 000 EU. It is quite a lots of money to gather, especially because we would need most of them before the event. I would be bit nervous to go over this number because I think that we would have a problem to cover it and please keep in mind that if we can actually end up in surplus like 500-1000 eu that would make our life for 30c3 and other events much more easy.

So please let me know how do you see it and if you have some money to spare for the budget 355 EU (or preferably bit more). Do not forget that the kickstarter style of budget may be really good idea to go but we need time and energy to promote it.

Talk to you all soon,

Sincerely,

FAA

PS We would need more chairs and I need to find out if we can cook in tent like that in the first place, I'm working on it. I will try to chip in some cash for the budget by myself, but it will be not too much because I'm still waiting for my working visa ...

1 5x5 m tent = 375 EU

4 tables  = 60 EU
2 beer tables = 40 EU
20 folding chairs = 40 EU

Total = 515 EU
We have = 160 EU

Have to get = 355 EU (before the end of April)

and other equipment

Hi to all,
I'm on the road so just briefly. I got in touch with the OHM 2013 organizers, so I'm now starting to ask tun of questions. Most of all, I have created our Food Hacking Village page at OHM 2013 (just the opening)

https://ohm2013.org/wiki/Food_Hacking_Base

but we will have to add the "Village:" prefix because all the other projects are you using it so when I find out how to do it I will or if anyone knows please take the opportunity :-)

If we want to rent a tent we have till end of month to do so info is here

https://ohm2013.org/wiki/Category:Village

in case we do not have enough resources in advance to do so, we will need to do some building up. I think at least one 5 on 5 m tent would be good to start with, what do you think?

I'll get in touch within next five days or so when I get back home to Jeju.

 Sincerely from Seoul,

FAA
