The compilers class (164) is Tuesday Thursday 9:30-11:00am with a
discussion section later in the day on Thursdays. It does seem to have
become "full", but the lecture itself is in 306 Soda, which is "Hewlett
Packard Auditorium":

I think there would be plenty of room there to sit in without being
burdensome. One of the classes I took last semester was "full" and
although there were supposed to be maybe 70 people in the class, there
couldn't have been more than 30 in class every day. I've definitely
been trying not to add to the TAs work load because I know how
difficult it is for them already, so I was kind of expecting to play it
by ear in terms of how much more integrated I could get into the rest
of the class. My experience last semester was that the TA's were really
excited to have someone in their discussion sections/class who wanted
to be there and was excited instead of just fulfilling a requirement.
They were all really accommodating and super generous. In the end,
though, all that I was doing was sitting in on lectures, sitting in on
discussions, occasionally raising my hand to answer a question, and
doing the homeworks on my own time. There wasn't much that I really
needed from anybody, so I felt like one more body in the room wasn't
really adversely affecting anyone. I suppose we can show up and see how
it feels?
