[sudoroom] Rent-trade for building improvements?

Sudoers,

Has anyone asked the building owner if he'd accept improvements to the
building in exchange for rent?

sudo room is a bunch of handy people who might prefer to contribute
sweat-equity and creativity rather than $ ... he's looking to make the
place more appealing to new tenants ... match made in heaven?
