this depends a lot, for me, on when it starts. right now i have a
contract to pay rent on the Coyote space through next summer. If we get
a space for sewing next summer, as opposed to next month, it will need a
lot more room, because I will put 2-4 industrial sewing machines in it.
each of them is 4' long and has similar requirements to a small desk,
including an ergonomic chair. Additionally, a sewing work area requires
a large work table at waist height, and enough open floor space to move
around in. This last one might seem kind of obvious, or redundant, but
sewing is a physical pursuit like carpentry and, much as a carpentry
space requires room to manipulate sheets of plywood, and sticks of
lumber, the sewing area will require room for people to walk around the
work table, and put things on and off of it without hitting their elbows
on other stuff.

I certainly support a retail endeavor! 6-9 months from now I could even
commit to staffing it two days a week.

as well as sewing and laser cutting :) The

This is something i am most definitely aware of, as this is a tool i use
extensively. (maybe it was on the list already and i just missed it by
speed-reading?) I am building a coalition of individuals interested in
purchasing one with a large bed (as soon as next month?!), if anyone is
interested in committing financially to this please contact me.
