[sudoroom] Feral Robotic Dogs

I was at a food justice activism meeting and the topic of monitoring 
radiation levels in urban places came up and I spoke about Sudo Room's 
interest in citizen science.

I was reminded of a project by Natalie Jeremijenko 
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natalie_Jeremijenko) on Feral Robotic Dogs 
(http://www.nyu.edu/projects/xdesign/feralrobots/) that is part data 
collection, part education, and part publicity about the effect of 
industrial waste in our surroundings.

The last feral dog release noted there is from 2005 - any interest in 
reviving it? If anyone knows of relevant projects (especially more 
recent ones) and/or has resources to share, that would be really helpful.
