Marqeta Presents the Oakland Local Community Voices Awards + Holiday FundraiserOakland Local is honoring entrepreneurs and change makers behind Oakland’s economic and cultural sustainability and transformation.  
Join us in celebration of our first annual Community Voices Awards and holiday party on Thursday, December 13th at Tamarindo Restaurant in Old Oakland. This will be a super fun event with great company, food, drink and music.Presale tickets are $10.  Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event for $15.   
Delicious cocktails, treats and savory small plates, prepared by Gloria Dominquez and team at Tamarindo, will be available throughout the evening, with gifts and raffle items from local merchants. We'll have live jazz from the great Destiny Muhammed and great conversation with some of Oakland's most interesting movers and shakers.The Community Voices Awards are brought to you by Marqeta, an e-commerce platform founded in Oakland that gives residents more money to spend locally for the things they buy everyday, supports Oakland merchants and small businesses with revenue growth opportunities and donates to Great Oakland Public Schools.
