[sudoroom] Needed: Fiscal Sponsor

Hey Folks,

After a brief chat with Victoria at http://penguinday.org/ today (so
inspiring), I think we may have to separate this into two concerns to make
things simpler, which I am posing in my own words:

(1) Sudo Room is a group of individuals exercising their right to free
assembly, which is unincoprorated! We have a bright future ahead of us, and
before long-term governance plans are forged, we have a lot of stuff to do!
(2) Sudo Room is seeking a sponsor for some snacks and such at our kick-off
event, and there is an opportunity to reach out to food providers (e.g.
whole foods et al), especially if you are a 501(c)3. Perhaps Oakland Local
is a good fit for sponsoring a bit of nourishment at this event? Susan has
offered quite graciously.

As for (1), OoOoOoOoO Rachel, there can be great stuff happening, we shall
continue discussions! I am personally committed to democratic governance, a
collective ethos, and am moved by all forms of consensus. So far, we have
been striving to exercise consensus of all present and participating
parties. Sudo Room must congeal on a sudo path, and I believe we are
getting there, surely.
