Hi Frantisek,

Thank you for your response. I am looking forward to meet you and to learn more about FHB.

I don't think the oven can be used properly for making cake. It becomes way too hot, around 500 degrees celcius. A normal oven would be more suitable for that imho.

About organizing a workshop. I could organize an unofficial one, I will be happy to do so. I will take pizza flour (tipo 00) to prepare the dough in advance, during the morning on the day of the workshop. It takes some time to rise. During the workshop we could roll out the dough, prepare the pizza and bake it in the oven, and of course eat it :)

For this to succeed there are a few requirements though:
- the dough needs to rise in a somewhat cool place (best at around 20 degrees) for around 6 hours. My tent isnt suitable for this.
- i will need a table to put the pizzaoven on, it will become hot so a plastic table isnt going to work. Hopefully I can use FHB’s, if you are ordering via Moebelhaus.
- i will need a table for the people to role the dough and prepare the pizza on. One at a time would be my suggestion. I can show how to do it with the first one or something :)
- we’ll need ingredients, like tomato sauce (pomodoro or sifted tomato sauce is satisfactory), mozzarella, paprika, ham, minced meat, etc. I could buy these, which requires a small investment. These ingredients need to be cooled in a fridge, which I can’t take, so hopefully I can use FHB’s.
- there should be a max of participants, was thinking around 10 people. Otherwise it’s hard to manage and difficult to estimate how many ingredients are needed.

I’ll do my best to be on IRC this sunday at 19:00. Will be traveling so I am not 100% sure.

Kind regards,
Pizzaiolo Bas

> thank you for the email, my previous incomplete response was mistake. You wrote that you had a look at our wiki so you know already all the basics and the rest you will get when we meet on the ground :-). One technical question, is it possible to make cakes/pies in the pizza oven? I've never used the classic pizza oven so I don't have experience there. It would come handy. Otherwise I think we should have all at fhb what is needed to support running your adventure. Ohh yes, if you can please keep an eye a bit on the irc channel, I guess next meeting will be again on Sunday 19h00, if you can pop in good, it will be the last preparation meeting before the event.
> By the way would you like to run some official or unofficial workshop on pizza making? We have way too much space at our event list and from what you have wrote you have got plenty of experience there.
