My reason for avoiding google is generally tracking.

yes, this is how we use it at techinc.

I think we tried all the sugestions at techinc and the only thing that
actually worked was the questycaptcha, the ip-blocking ended up us just
blocking entire countries, but eventhough unpreferred, didn't work.
