Thank you for sharing the news, Leandro.

We hung out together in Sao Paulo while I was hacker in residence there several years ago.  She was super supportive and happily helped many people.  I'm glad to have known her.

Some of you might have known Cecilia Tanaka, which was active in this list and in the Brazilian hackerspace scene. It's with deep sadness that I come here to bear the news of her passing. (Cause is unknown to me, but this was confirmed by members of Brazilian hackerspaces that were close to her.)

She was an ever bubbly presence, was a good friend, and will be missed.
