Hi all

At https://www.coredump.ch/ we produce a (open source hardware) PCB that allows connecting an iC880A LoRaWAN gateway board to a Raspberry Pi. It features a DC-DC converter, some sensors for monitoring, and some other nice things.

We usually sell those boards through our shop, it helps fund our hackerspace expenses. However, since we have a few (~10) v2.0 boards left and v2.1 is already in production, we thought that giving them out at 50% of the original price for hackerspaces would be nice.

So: If you're part of a hackerspace / makerspace and want to build a LoRaWAN gateway for non-commercial purposes, let me know. I'll be at the CCC Camp this week and will bring a few pre-assembled boards with me. Price for the version with temperature / humidity sensor and ADC is 25 CHF / 23 EUR, and for the version without those sensors it's 20 CHF / 19 EUR.

Here's the classic "From zero to LoRaWAN in a weekend" wiki to build a custom gateway for The Things Network: https://github.com/ttn-zh/ic880a-gateway/wiki

This is what gateway monitoring can look like with the backplane: https://grafana.coredump.ch/d/000000001/ttn-gateway

Cheers & see you at the camp,
