[hackerspaces] The world needs makerspaces?

Hi all!

Thought this an interesting article worth reading, about the closure of
TechShop.

Interesting how on the one hand there is this idea of the need for
makerspaces
but they appear to be very difficult to maintain financially. Would be
interested
to hear any thoughts on the subject!
