I posted today asking for hackerspace folks to donate to the Ada
Initiative, an organization that does a lot of work to support women in
open tech and culture.
http://bookmaniac.org/make-hackerspaces-better-support-ada-initiative/

Ada Initiative's work directly supported the creation of Double Union, a
150+ member hackerspace in San Francisco. Much of their work on
anti-harassment policies and codes of conduct have been applied at
conferences and other tech-related events over the last three years. I
also think Ada Initiative's work in running ally workshops for men has been
super useful in shifting our culture to be more supportive of women in
tech, hacking and making stuff. I'd like to see more of those cultural
changes spread to hackerspaces!

My second request is for people who are involved with a hackerspace to put
up a link to their anti-harassment policy or code of conduct on
hackerspaces.org!

Please donate to Ada Initiative from my post, or by using this link,

https://adainitiative.org/donate/?campaign=hackerspaces

Thanks!

- Liz
