[hackerspaces] Differences between hackerspaces and fablabs

When you legally incorporate, you have a board of directors. Full stop. They are legally accountable for the organization to the government for taxes, liability, etc. I’d be interested in hearing how European hackerspaces exist without such legal accountability (as I suspect they don’t).
