[hackerspaces] Meeting to get going on the Conejo Valley Makerspace - Thursday, Aug 7 at 7pm in Westlake Village, CA

We are making a new makerspace / hackerspace in the Conejo Valley in Los
Angeles and Ventura counties along the 101 tech corridor. Cities in the
area include, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Camarillo, Newbury Park, Moorpark,
Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Woodland Hills in California.

This is our first in-person meeting and you're invited!

Theme: Make a space to build, explore, learn, teach, define, engage,
disrupt, create, and socialize.

Date: Thursday, August 7th
Time: 7pm - 9pm (okay to come late!)
Ages: All

1. Why are we doing this?
2. What do you want from a space?
3. Where should it be located?
4. How will it be funded? Membership, sponsorship, classes (split revenue
with teachers)
5. What business model will it follow? For profit / B-Corp / Non-profit
6. How will you use the space?
7. Are you willing to become a member? Monthly fee structure?
8. What kinds of classes do you want to see?
9. What kinds of equipment should be in the space?
10. What capabilities should people be able to perform at the space?
11. Woodwork? Electronics? 3D Printing? Laser Cutting? Metalwork? Fire?

15. Attracting adults and kids to the space / Getting the word out /
