[hackerspaces] How did you all first find out about Hackerspaces?

Found out about and joined MITERS at MIT just as I was finishing my
undergrad.  Then came across hackerspaces.org on (I think) BoingBoing.
 Later, when I moved back to the Detroit area, I got in touch with a few
local hackers using the site.
