Hello, Ken,
I have been wondering for a while how a hackerspace can better connect with
local DIY craft-oriented businesses, such as
Radio Shack. Are Radio Shack franchises independently owned and
operated, or are all local Radio Shack personnel employed
by the same former TandyCorp? To what extent is Radio Shack committed to
getting back to the DIY kit mode of the old days?
I see at: https://www.radioshackdiy.com Partners: WIRED, PopSci,
Instructables, PopMech, Make
Does Radio Shack have any corporate policies in place for supporting local
mini Maker Faires?
Thanks,
