I personally think that's a dick move, and would have turned me off from
giving Noisebridge money all together. Please don't charge someone a
premium simply because they believe in something (or against other things).

If you have someone who's hard to track down, simply drop their
membership. It's up to them to pay their dues or fees, not you.

So my biggest tip with this is get with a bank that allows free wire
transfers in, specially using routing and account numbers. If someone
wants to be That Hacker who doesn't like the use these internet banks,
give them an option of mailing in a check directly to your bank, or
wiring the transfer, also make it a point that the payment doesn't count
unless they also email your treasurer when it goes through. Additionally
wire transfers can be setup reoccurring on their end.

Provide lots of options, in fact all of the options, including cold hard
cash. Bitcoins too if you can figure out a good way to spend it. Never
ever ever ever be a dick to someone simply because they want to pay you
in gold boolean instead of dealing with Paypal, because what it comes
down to is that all of us hacker spaces actually have a hard time
staying afloat, and at the end of the day you're basically rejecting
someone who wants to give you free money.
