You are right that it is hard to find on-line references to back that 
allegation up. Will look into that later on.

He founded the boy scouts with the intent of having enough warriors to 
sustain the British Empire, was very sympathetic to authoritarianism:

Basically, the founder of the Boy Scouts, an organisation that in the 
USA only lifted segregation in 1974 and are still homophobic bullies 
while at the same time covering pederasts, was a Nazi-sympathising, 
militarist, racist thug with a strong appetite for young boys.

The more you read up on the roots of the Boy Scouts, the more revolting 
they become.
