I have two peeves with Wordpress:

(i) It seems to me that adding new photo/video with Wordpress would be
significantly more complicated than with soup; especially when
remembering my woes with adding pictures to entries in my wordpress
blog. We need to make this as little hassle as possible or new entries
just won't appear. And having single / small team of people maintaining
a wordpress blog won't work well for us either, I fear.

(ii) There are automatic gateways between soup and twitter, facebook,
flickr...

Also, soup.io has (or had?) quite vibrant community with many people
cross-sharing entries. But by moving from soup, we will likely lose
that anyway.
