Our 'new-members' accepting process in Progressbar hackerspace
(Bratislava/Slovakia) is more informal and simple. We don't check ID or
home addresses of our new members (nobody knows address of anyone if the given
person voluntarily does not provide this information).
But we consider recommendations from old hackerspace's members about potential
new members and try to ignore new members who are in any conflicts with anyone
from old members (we simply try to avoid any potential conflicts in the
future). Of course we try not to have too much money (or too valuable things)
in the space (because we are open to anybody).
