[hackerspaces] Members and membership

At Puli Space we have developed a mentor program. Once you decide to join
and its established what field you plan to get involved in (anything from
geology through rocketry to journalism), you get a mentor (a more
experienced team member) who will show you the ropes.

As for advertising, we also mostly use online means (facebook and twitter
really work well) but we also have our own website, a separate team blog
and a few friendly science blogs who accept guest posts if we have
something to show. We also give free lessons in schools and science fairs,
and write regularly to magazines on topics like the Moon and space
exploration.

I'm just preparing a talk on public outreach strategies for the space
industry, so I have a lot of stuff on this. Hackerspaces will also be
mentioned.
