[hackerspaces] call for ecology (printing with imagemagick)

hiya all hackers,

i've got a couple of (~200ish) scans of pages (images). and i want to print
them. in windows i could print *2* *images* *per* *page* (beautifully
aligned & scaled) via the windows image printer.
can i do this in linux?

i'd like a *.pdf* *output* so I can print 'em two-sided.

it's not only for the weight of my backpack, but it's also a call for
ecology :D
