I see you understand me. Also i would introduce you - and a lot of
others - to the concept of ChaosVPN.

Thats the - already mentioned - vpn network to connect hackerspaces. So:
to make the networks from hackerspaces availible* to others.

* = yes, that does include security, firewalling, access restrictions
and more if you want to. It will not break your security.
