[hackerspaces] re-registering domain, time sensitive, options?

Could the EPP number be "Registrant ID" or "domain ID"? I can not find anything termed EPP or authorisation code.

A bunch of us have moved to namecheap.com based on their anti-SOPA (US pending law) stance.

Transfer of the domain name is straightforward, the new registrar will typically walk you through it. You will need to make sure you have not "locked" your domain with the previous registrar and you will need your EPP key (authorization code) to make the transfer.
