[hackerspaces] Hackerspaces and HAM radio?

Hi,

Here at shackspace we are planning on setting up a HAM radio station as part of our new electronics lab.

Is there any experiences with HAM radio stations run from a hackerspace?

Of course, we will have to make sure no unlicensed hackers will use the RX/TX equipment, but are there any concerns beside that?
