“Ideas Worth Spreading.” TED (Technology-Entertainment-Design) acts as a
sounding stage for some of the most important issues of our time, allowing
heretofore unexposed luminaries in modern thought to share their ideas with
larger audiences. “TEDx” gives organizations, corporations, and cities a
chance to leverage the TED network to bring exciting, challenging content
all over the world. *

 TEDxCincinnatiSalon speakers will encourage everyday citizens to consider
how they can influence opinions on a global scale. Topics will examine and
stimulate discussion of modern interpretations of citizen diplomacy,
cultural understanding, diversity, and international relationship building
in creating a strong community.

 *The event will inspire community members and local elected officials to
engage in new methods of cultural activities and people-to-people diplomacy.
