Same here. I see some occasional irc discussions on the irc channel,
which is nice in itself. I always have felt it easier to express my
feelings and experience with chronic and deep depression (up to being
ready to end my life) electronically rather than face to face.

Depression sucks, and that's a fact. It is also something someone who
doesn't know depression easily underestimates. It sucks out the life of
a person so bad, even if on the surface you're doing well and are happily
doing lots of cool stuff, like Ilya.

I've learned to deal with it somewhat, but still the constant nagging
inside my head is a big load to bear. Never being able to feel any
pride or satisfaction in your accomplishments, because deep down 
there's this core of worthlessness, like a black hole sucking in any
excitement and joy.

Anyway, bluehackers.org is a cool project, and I like the IRC channel
where people can discuss openly without being judged by male machism
'shut up, don't be a pussy and get on with your life'. If it's too
scary, one can even go online via tor and discuss anonymously.

There's people there who know depression. Who are in the various 
phases of dealing with it, or just starting to reach out.
