[hackerspaces] Making Stickers for exchange & promotion?

What methods and tools do various spaces use to create their tools?
Avery (or other commercial) label paper, precut/cut-to-shape - which type works best?
Any paper + double-stick (carpet or other) tape?
Printers - laser printer vs ink jet?
Cutters - precut, simple paper chopper, circle cutter, cnc cutter (silhouette, etc), laser cutter?
Or do you outsource the whole production (after artwork creation)?
