Hi guys

Lima is a low cost city compared to other cities as Rio de Janeiro or Buenos Aires.

We could cover all the costs of a two days meeting with a minimum of 20 participants and a flat fee of $100.

With $2000 we can rent a conference room with a capacity for 160 persons for 2 full days.

Of course if we have 50 participants or more we can rent a conference room for a week plus small rooms for parallel sessions, free coffe break and maybe a free city tour.

A lot of people is interested in visiting Cusco and Machupichu, Cusco is more expensive than Lima but we could have 1 special meeting in Cusco. But large conference rooms are very expensive, however small conference rooms for 60-70 persons are availables at low cost. With an additional $50 we can have an additional meeting in Cusco.

But travelships is the big problem, is very expensive moving people from a continent to other and we need help for getting some sponsors, by example the Fab Lab conference is looking 25k for travelships.

We are looking for other hackerspaces interested in co-organize a meeting in Peru. The work of looking for sponsors could be divided by zones, every co-organizer could look for sponsors for support hackerspaces in their zone.

By example we could look for sponsors for support members of the hackerspaces from south america.

Are you interested???
