[hackerspaces] hackerspaces meetup? / hope and 27c3

During HSF2009 we were enthusiastic about setting up a hacker caravan
that would go from wherever you are to Istanbul to gather for the
Trans-HackMeeting there, sometimes this Summer.  The plan sounded great, but
there are absolutely no news from THK, it's already May, and apart fom
the (dated) enthusiasm, there's nothing going on on that front AFAIK.

Does anyone have news?  Would that be a relevant way to build momentum
to "the" meeting?
