I talked to a guy at the 26c3, 'barcode', who was actively trying to
establish a space in Beijing. For now they have been meeting in bars having
beers, and they have been able to meet in the back room to have meetings and
hacking sessions, but they were looking for ways to establish it by itself.
The government doesn't like people assembling into groups (for some
reason...)
