[hackerspaces] Replace GNUCash with...?

Currently Makers Local 256 is using google spreadsheets.  
We were hoping to transition to GNUCash, though, because we end up with accounting errors that have to be straightened about once or twice a year (using googledocs)

Hello,

I'm wondering what other spaces are using to track money and payment of
dues.  Our treasurer tried GNUCash, but he's fed up with it (not sure why).
What's everyone else using?
